A Message from Our Team

We mourn together with our Maui Ohana and understand that many around us and connected to us have experienced significant loss and hardship as the result of the recent fires on Maui. As a team of mental health providers, we will continue to act as a resource for staff members, community members, and all past, current, and future patients of ‘Ai Pono who are in need of mental health support during this difficult time.

As a facility, we are very fortunate to have not been directly impacted by the fires. Our facility and the Maui airport remain fully operational, and we are able to safely welcome new patients into our program.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding Admissions, please don’t hesitate to contact our Admissions Team directly at 808-707-1018.

As an additional resource for our local community members:

The Hawai‘i State Department of Health (DOH) Maui Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) is offering crisis mental health services and expanding hours to those experiencing emotional or psychological distress as a result of the Maui wildfires.

To receive the emergency services, contact Maui CMHC at (808) 984-2150 or via email at mauiwellness@doh.hawaii.gov or in person at 121 Mahalani Street in Wailuku. Clinic hours are Monday throughFriday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. To accommodate immediate needs, we will have expanded clinic hours on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. After hours, contact Hawaiʻi CARES to speak to a local crisis counselor at 808-832-3100, 1-800-753-6879, or call/text/chat 988.
