What I need. - TO BE FREE … I will make choices in my life that are consistent with my feelings, wants, and needs. - TO BE FREE … I will treat myself as well as I treat others.
- TO BE FREE … I recognize that change can only come from within myself, that I cannot change other people or circumstances.
- TO BE FREE … I will make conscious choices about my life. I will not feel guilt about the choices I make, nor will I judge or punish myself for them. If I make mistakes, I will recognize that mistakes are part of life and opportunities for change and growth.

- TO BE FREE … If I binge, purge, or starve, I will recognize that these are ways of communicating with myself and the world around me. I will try to understand the message I am sending, to learn from it, to grow from it.
- TO BE FREE … I recognize that I have the right to say “yes” to that which I do want in life and “no” to that which I do not want.
- TO BE FREE … I will be responsible for that which I can be responsible for and let go of that which I cannot. I will have realistic expectations of myself.
- TO BE FREE … I will not deny myself love, or knowledge, work, sex, or play. I will not deny my pleasure or pain, joy or rage. I will not deny myself the breath of my own life.
